Catalonia is an autonomous region. It has a history that goes back more than 1000 years apart from its own culture, language and traditions. Located in southern Catalonia, the area of Ebro Delta Park was, once, an important hub for trading. The main sources of living were agriculture and fishing. Apart from the delta, there is another area - Terres de L'ebre - which plays a very important role in balancing the eco system of the region.
